Lincoln Central train station has regular services operated by East Midlands Trains, Northern Trains and Virgin Trains East Coast. During the week, there are direct services to London St Pancras and London King's Cross. There are also excellent local bus services, which run to and from Lincoln as well as the surrounding villages.

Plenty to do in the local area

Lincoln is a popular and attractive place to live, with many historic buildings. including the castle, cathedral and the medieval Bishop's Palace. It also offers great arts and culture, plenty of places to eat and drink and a multitude of well-known and independent shops and boutiques, many of which can be found on Steep Hill. As the name suggests, it's steep, but well-worth the walk with its antiques, vintage and retro stores, as well as tea rooms, pubs and restaurants.
