Plenty to do in the local area

Hucknall is home to the Leen Valley and Bestwood Country Parks, as well as several other play parks and green spaces. There are also lots of local visitor attractions just a short drive away such as the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre, Rufford Abbey and Newstead Abbey. Nottingham has plenty of leisure and entertainment venues. If you're into your sport, Hucknall Leisure Centre in the town centre provides an excellent range of facilities including a 25-metre swimming pool, squash courts, sports hall and a dance studio.

Convenient transport links

Hawkers Place is close to Hucknall's busy high street with its regular trams to Nottingham. The road and rail links are also excellent, providing direct routes to the surrounding towns and further afield. Located just over 7 miles north-west of Nottingham, this development is close to the M1 making it convenient for commuting by car. For travel further afield, East Midlands Airport is also conveniently close with its wide range of national and international destinations.

Great shopping facilities

The town was historically a centre for framework knitting and then for mining, but is now a focus for other thriving industries. Hawkers Place proudly stands on the former Rolls-Royce site and is just a short distance from Hucknall's busy high street where you'll find a wide range of shops and facilities. There's also a large Tesco Extra and Aldi for your weekly shop. With regular trams into Nottingham, you'll have easy access to all the high street stores, designer boutiques and fantastic eateries.
