There are three churches, and several eateries, including a coffee shop, bakery, pubs and takeaway restaurants. The nearby village hall hosts regular groups and classes, while a Tesco Superstore is located 5.4 miles away in Princes Risborough. For a wider range of facilities you'll be spoilt for choice – Bicester Outlet is 30 minutes away, and High Wycombe (22 minutes) is home to a huge range of high street and independent stores.

Outstanding education

Family-friendly Chinnor has great access to educational facilities, with both a nursery and the 'Outstanding' St Andrew's Church of England Primary School just a short walk from Greenwood Place. Older students can attend Lord Williams's School and Sixth Form in neighbouring Thame (also rated Outstanding by Ofsted), and there are further colleges in High Wycombe and Oxford.

Living at Greenwood Place you'll never be short on things to do – Chinnor has a number of sports clubs to join, and local attractions include the annual Beer Festival, Chinnor & Princes Risborough Steam Railway, and Chinnor Windmill heritage museum. If you feel like stretching your legs, Chinnor Conservation area and Oakley Conservation area are just metres from the development, while Chinnor Chalk Pit, Aston Rowant Nature Reserve and of course the Chilterns are all a few minutes away too.

Superb transport links

Junction 5 of the M40 is just a few minutes from the site, which leads south to London (total journey time of approx 1 hour) or north to Oxford and the Midlands. High Wycombe is also easily reached by road, or by bus – there are multiple bus routes in the area, also linking to Thame and Princes Risborough. The nearest train station is Princes Risborough, approximately 15 minutes away, which operates a direct service to London Marylebone in under an hour, along with other direct routes to more UK centres. Finally, for travel further afield, Heathrow Airport is just a 31-minute drive away.
