The weekly Eye Country Market showcases a range of locally-made food, Eye Arts Guild bring together local artists each week, Banks Arts Centre hosts regular quizzes, and you can watch performances and productions at Abbey Hall Creative Space. 10 minutes away in Diss there's a leisure centre with a calendar of events and classes, and for a livelier scene you could head to Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich or Norwich for some nightlife.

And for some fresh air, nearby Pennings nature reserve, Thornham Walks, and Thetford Forest Park provide great opportunities to get out into nature.
