Liberty Gate is just a short walk from Lakenheath high street, where there are food outlets, a Co-op Food, farm shop, pubs, pharmacy and a post office. There are excellent museums in Thetford, Mildenhall, Ely and Bury St Edmunds, while Cambridge (44 minutes away) has plenty to keep you occupied for a weekend.
