The A19 is an easy link by road to York city centre. Leeds, Harrogate and the coast can be reached via the A64 and A1M. Numerous bus routes around York and the wider area also serve Fulford. The nearest train station is in York city centre - providing train services to the north and south on the East Coast Mainline. There are direct services to London, taking two hours 20 minutes, to Manchester on the TransPennine Express, taking one hour 20 minutes, and to Manchester Airport. Manchester Airport and Leeds Bradford Airport are the closest to the city.
