When Aaron and Jasmine bought their first home at Orchard News in Pershore, they found the process of buying a house for the first time was far less complicated and stressful than they had imagined buying a house would be. Here’s their story.
We heard that buying your first home was a long, daunting process, but from our experience the only thing we can say is how quick, simple and reassuring the whole process was.
As a first-time buyer trying to get that deposit together, the idea of not having to renovate and be living in a dirty environment, not having to worry about ripping out kitchens and bathrooms it just all made perfect sense to us.

When we met Ellie, the sales advisor, she really made it quite straightforward for us. As soon as we signed the reservation form, we were handed a pack with a pathway of what to expect.
Ellie helped us throughout the whole process from start to finish. Really, she made it so simple, so straightforward. She was in constant contact with us and she explained and took us through every step of the way. She'd constantly text me to make sure we were hearing off the solicitors. If we weren't, she was chasing them for us.
So Ellie and Persimmon ultimately made it completely smooth and pain-free for us, as well as making the buying process easy.

We both work in Birmingham, and we're definitely more inclined to like the peace and quiet rather than the hustle and bustle of a city centre location. I work split between Birmingham and from home it's really nice to have a nice sanctuary right here.
It's got a really warm, homely feeling. There's a variety of families, first-time buyers. It's got a really nice community feel.
