As for a trip into the countryside, Bluebell Walk is halfway between Rivington Reservoir and Pennington Flash for lovely waterside and woodland walks.

There's also St. Bartholomew's primary as well as Westhoughton High for a secondary education. Those of you looking for further education will find a great selection of courses and high standard of teaching at Bolton College, which is easily commutable from the development.
Wherever you want to go, you'll have great connections living at Bluebell Walk. Westhoughton station is within walking distance of the development and has direct services to both Manchester Victoria and Piccadilly in under 40 minutes. The town is also well-served by local buses. If you're looking for something further away, Manchester International Airport just around a 30-minute drive away.
