Wigan
Wigan has a proud history of mining, cotton milling and clothing. It once had a viaduct that transported coal onto waiting barges on the canal. While that landmark may have gone, much of the industrialists’ legacy remains including grand Victorian buildings and the railways.
It has two railway stations and is perfectly positioned between Merseyside and Manchester, with easy commuter links. Your new build is close to shops, markets, a canal and a football ground, all within walking distance.
