Alsager

Alsager is a pretty market town located between Crewe and the Potteries, in the South East of Cheshire. Surrounded by rolling countryside, it has easy access to walking and outdoor recreation straight from the door. Take a walk to Wedgewood’s Monument, or the ruined castle at Mow Cop - or socialise in one of the ancient pubs.

The area has a pleasant town centre, with wide streets and green spaces, bustling with local businesses and high street shops. Younger children have a choice of five primary schools: Alsager Highfields Community Primary School, St Gabriel’s Catholic Primary School, Pikemere School, Excalibur Primary School and Cranberry Academy. The local secondary school, is within walking distance of your new house. If you need SEN education, the National Autistic Society Church Lawton School provides through education and is in the next village. 

Superb transport links from your door

There is a mainline railway station, providing speedy direct links to Crewe (8 minutes), Derby (1 hour) and Stoke-on-Trent (12 minutes) – ideal for commuters. If you want to travel by road, it is three miles from junction 16 of the M6, putting Manchester (33 miles), Liverpool (50 miles) and Stafford (26 miles) within easy distance of your new house. Fancy jetting off? Manchester airport is just 27 miles away.
