Newquay is a practical working town with all the amenities that you would expect. For shoppers, there are national brands and independent shops in the town centre, and supermarkets and a Farm Shop within walking distance of Trevithick Manor Park. Getting around

The A392 is the town’s link road to the A30 at Indian Queens, 7 miles away. The A30 is the direct route from Exeter all the way to Penzance. From the A30, the A39 takes you into Truro, and from Bodmin, the A38 takes you down to Saltash and Plymouth. Newquay has a train station, with services operated by Great Western Railway. Par is the connecting station for onward journeys. Newquay Airport has a range of flights for a getaway or for business trips.

Sea and sand

Newquay and beach life come hand in hand. Fistral Beach is on the international surfing map, and The Boardmasters and the Run to The Sun festivals have become iconic annual events.
