A money and time saving choice, a new-build home is energy efficient – making it easy to heat in the colder months and therefore less of an impact on your monthly bills. And if you love getting your interior design ‘just right’, a new house is the perfect blank canvas to put your unique stamp on.

Living in Sutton on Trent

Well connected

The B1164 runs along the west side of village, and links with various A roads, including the A1. Giving you easy access to city life in Lincoln, Leicester and the picturesque town of Newark-on-Trent.

Nottingham is under an hour away by car, and you can also get a train from Newark Castle station in under 30 minutes. Newark’s Northgate Railway Station runs services on the East Coast mainline, and you can get to London King’s Cross in around an hour and a half – which is ideal for commuters.

For quick getaways when you need a holiday, the East Midlands Airport is under an hour’s drive away.

A best of both location

Settled right in the centre of a group of four popular East Midlands’ destinations: Newark-on-Trent, Mansfield, Worksop and Lincoln, the village is a perfect location for work and leisure opportunities.

With a range of convenient amenities, your day-to-day needs are covered. Plus, it’s easy to get to Newark-on-Trent, or into the cathedral city of Lincoln, for a full range of shops, supermarkets, leisure facilities and entertainment.

And for education, you have Sutton-on-Trent Primary School, a primary and nursery school – that’s a ‘feeder’ school for Tuxford Academy, which is under a 15-minute drive from the village.

Semi-rural joy

With the river on your doorstep and Lincoln Cathedral on the horizon, strolling around the village is an everyday joy.

The Sutton Holmes walk is a picturesque 4.5-mile route, and Lincoln is a great place to visit with its history, culture and great shopping – making it a good day out for all ages. Newark-on-Trent is also perfect for family entertainment.
