Whitburn
Ideally placed halfway between Glasgow (23 miles) and Edinburgh (22 miles) - and just a stone’s throw from the M8, the area is a perfect mix of easy commuting with peaceful rural living. In recent years, the town has had a new lease of life following a regeneration project at the site of a former colliery. This has given it a dynamic new business park with retail and leisure units as well as carefully planned green spaces, footpaths and cycleways.
The town has historic buildings at its heart including the Whitburn Burgh Halls and the Library. Your new house in Whitburn also enjoys an active arts scene, with local talent showcased at venues such as the Academy Theatre and the Band Hall, as well as the excellent Brass Band, with international acclaim.
