New build homes for sale in Newport

A new build here isn’t just for city lovers. It’s a colourful city, a patchwork of Victorian buildings and newer developments, all surrounded by the lush green spaces dotted in and around the area. Notable parks include Bellevue, Tredegar, Beechwood and Christchurch. You’re also on the Wales Coastal Path and near the Newport Wetlands, and the idyllic Fourteen Locks Canal Centre.

If you want to feel even closer to nature and get your hands dirty, you can also hire an allotment and plant your own fruits, vegetables and flowers, either on your own or with a family or friend. All these outdoor spaces provide tranquillity, an escape from the buzzing city energy and a higher quality of life.

While every location has its own culinary hotspots, you really are spoilt for choice here. The most notable eateries make up the Food Market, featuring cuisines like Italian, Greek and Asian. Sit back with a crispy pizza, tasty noodles or burgers dripping with cheese, all before shopping for comics and handcrafted home goods, and admiring local photography.

Newport is Wales’ third largest city and has undergone redevelopments that have made it the exciting destination it is today. The results of those works include the Friar’s Walk shopping and entertainment centre, new business premises, and the International Convention Centre, part of the iconic Celtic Manor Resort. It has also made waves in the tech sector, becoming a ‘Digital-First’ city that supports the growth of digital skills and technologies throughout the area.

All this recent funding is transforming this city into an ambitious business hive, where professionals and entrepreneurs can come and make the most of the opportunities waiting for them here when buying a new house in Newport.
