Bewdley

Nestled on the serpentine banks of the River Severn is a Georgian jewel of a town, as quaint as it is modern and as bustling as it is quietly contented – it’s your new home in Bewdley. This Worcestershire village has a long agricultural and industrial history that is much-celebrated in the museum, a vibrant hotspot where craftspeople still keep local skills alive.

The beautiful Bewdley Bridge was created by local engineer Thomas Telford in 1798 and is a grade II listed monument. Across from the river, and the hotchpotch of English Heritage listed buildings, the Wyre Forest and the Marshes, part of the Welsh borderlands wait to be explored. Nearby attractions include the West Midland Safari Park and the historic Severn Valley Railway.
