Persimmon Homes

Malvern

Malvern Link and Great Malvern have an unusual arrangement, they are separated by a lovely piece of open land called Link Common, hence the name of this growing Worcestershire town. Malvern Link has embraced its development as a residential area, adding space for new retail businesses and commercial parks, giving it a balanced outlook and a great foundation for your new home. With the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty literally on the doorstep, this is a lovely place to call home.

Living in Malvern

Good connections

Living next door to an historic spa town brings its own benefits, and one of them is convenience of being close enough to the M5 to make the most of that great north-south route, yet far away enough to be surrounded by lovely countryside.  Worcester is just 7 miles away, taking less than half an hour by car into the city centre using the A449, which also connects with Ledbury – a beautiful and historic market town. You can join the M5 there, at Junction 7, or to the south near Tewkesbury at Junction 8, where there’s also a link to the M50. Birmingham Airport is about an hour’s drive away, but you can also get there by train, with an average journey time of 2 hours. Other train routes include Hereford, Gloucester, Birmingham, Oxford, Bristol, and London Paddington. FirstBus services operate regular services, 7 days a week, connecting you with Worcester.

Good amenities

Malvern Link has everything that you would expect in a thriving town, independent shops, supermarkets, the Malvern Hills Retail Park, and plenty of local produce from its butchers, green grocers, and bakeries. Great Malvern adds another layer to the shopping experience because it caters for visitors and tourists as well. For city centre shopping and high street retailers, Worcester is on hand. The playing fields at Victoria Park, and the town’s namesake, Link Common, provide lovely local green space. You could say that the greatest local amenity comes in the form of the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You’ll feel on top of the world in this beautiful landscape.
