There are no less than thirteen primary schools in the town and its suburbs, including eight Church of England schools, one Roman Catholic school, and four non-denominational state schools. The Chase School is a secondary school that serves the local area. With around 1,300 pupils, it’s a specialist Technology, Language and Science college under the specialist schools programme.
Living at Malvern Rise means you’ll be able to benefit from excellent transport links. The A449 road runs through the centre of Malvern, connecting to Worcester and Ledbury. It’s conveniently close to the M5 motorway providing access to Birmingham and Exeter. There are two nearby train stations, Malvern Link and Great Malvern, where major operators Great Western Railway and West Midlands offer services to Hereford, Birmingham New Street and London Paddington.
Malvern has plenty of local shops of its own however a trip into Ledbury to the south, or Worcester to the north, are two different options for a great day out as well. Ledbury is filled with independent shops and boutiques, whilst Worcester offers the high street brands that you would expect in a larger town.
