On the outskirts, there’s a Tesco Superstore and a Sainsbury’s supermarket, both with petrol stations. The two main shopping streets have all the shops you’ll need for day-to-day living. There’s a Post Office, a couple of local bakeries, and some mainstream retailers such as Boots, Superdrug, and WH Smith, with the addition of local pubs and restaurants.

Explore the area

Heading out on the South West Coastal Path is the best way to explore the hidden coves and secluded beaches. Church Cove at Gunwalloe is a gem of a beach on the Lizard Peninsula. For an easy stroll close to home, Helston’s Coronation Park and Lake is a lovely place to go with young children - everyone loves to feed the ducks! – and Flambards Theme Park will give older children a thrill. Porth Levan is a classic Cornish fishing village, with great pubs, restaurants, and gift shops around the harbour.
