Alice House Hospice Welcomes generous donation

A hospice based in Hartlepool has been presented with a cheque for £3,000.

Alice House Hospice provides care and support to patients and families affected by life limiting illness, or death of a loved one across Tees Valley and East Durham.

They recently welcomed representatives to formally receive the donation having successfully applied to our Community Champions initiative. The charity says the money will help go towards supporting local families and patients who receive their care. 

Julie Hildreth, Fundraising Senior Manager, Alice House Hospice said “It was our pleasure to welcome representatives of Persimmon Homes to Alice House and to receive their generous donation; this money will make a real difference to the lives of patients and families accessing local Hospice care.

“We rely on the support of the region’s business community to sustain our services and this is a great example of how companies can get involved. Sending thanks from all here at Alice House for the team at Persimmon for their warmth and interest in our work”
