Community funding to enhance local primary school’s outdoor learning area

Persimmon Homes North Midlands has donated £1,000 to Friends of Red Hill Field Primary School through its Community Champions scheme to help enhance the schools outside area.

Friends of Red Hill Field Primary School is a dedicated group of parent volunteers committed to enriching the school experience for every pupil. Through fundraising initiatives and community support, the group helps to make the school "a happy place to learn."

Keith Tiplady, Chair of Friends of Red Hill Field (PTA), commented:

"The Friends of Red Hill Field and the staff who work at the school are incredibly grateful to Persimmon Homes for this generous donation.

The funding will make a significant contribution towards refurbishing or replacing the canopy in our EYFS outdoor learning area, creating a safe and sheltered space for our youngest pupils. Support like this makes a real difference and helps us to continue improving our school environment for all our children."
