Defibrillator Installed at Woods Meadow, Oulton Broad – A Lifesaving Addition for the Community

Persimmon Homes Anglia is pleased to announce the installation of a defibrillator at their show home at Woods Meadow, Oulton Broad. The defibrillator, a vital lifesaving device is now available for the benefit of the local community.
The unveiling comes in partnership with Oulton Parish Council where Jo Illingsworth, Parish Chair, Tony Knights, Vice Chair and Rebecca Morris, Clerk attended the announcement of the defibrillator.
Jorden Knell, Sales Director, and Debi Sherman, Planning Director, led the unveiling to announce the defibrillator, which although is stationed on the side of the new show home, is for the use of the whole community.
“This defibrillator is a crucial addition to our community facilities,” said Jorden Knell. “We are committed to ensuring that help is always close at hand, and this device could make all the difference in an emergency.”
Debi Sherman added, “Having a defibrillator accessible in Woods Meadow means residents and visitors can feel safer, knowing that life-saving support is readily available if needed.”
The defibrillator is strategically located at the Woods Meadow sales hub, ensuring easy access for anyone in the development and community. This initiative reflects the ongoing partnership between Persimmon Homes Anglia, the Parish Council, and the wider community to create a safer, healthier environment for all.
Members of the Oulton Parish Council expressed their gratitude for the installation, highlighting the positive impact it will have on community safety. Commenting after the visit, the Parish Clerk said:

The Woods Meadow development is a growing estate, so this is a commendable donation for the community. This lifesaving piece of equipment is essential to the area for anyone that needs to use it.
