New homes in Flitwick are already proving popular with first-time buyers and key workers, with four properties reserved within the first weeks of Persimmon opening the show home at Saxon Woods.
The first reservations include young professionals and first-time buyers looking to put down roots in the area, demonstrating the demand for quality new homes across Central Bedfordshire.
The 170-home development, located off Steppingley Road, offers a range of homes for buyers at different stages of the property ladder and has already attracted strong interest since launching.
There is also a wide offering of support for first-time buyers on the development, including Mortgage Assist, which contributes up to £20,000 towards mortgage payments in the first year of ownership, and Deposit Boost, which an contributes an extra 5% towards a 10% deposit.
Claire Dearsley, Sales Director at Persimmon Homes Midlands, said: "It's great to see so much interest, particularly from first-time buyers and key workers who want to put down roots in the area."
"The fact that teachers and other young professionals are among our first purchasers demonstrates the important role new housing can play in helping people find a home that meets their needs, close to the communities where they work."
