Persimmon submits for new homes in Mansfield
04 September 2026
Plans for more than 120 new homes in Mansfield have been submitted by Persimmon Homes.
The proposals, put forward by Persimmon, would see 123 new homes built on land to the north of Jenford Street in Ladybrook.
The plans propose a mix of homes, ranging from 1 to 4-bedroom houses including detached, semi-detached, bungalows and terraced homes.
Of these new homes, 10% will be designated for affordable rent and discount market homes.
As part of the development proposals, there would be substantial improvements provided to the open space area. These would take the form of a new Multi-Use Games Area along with outdoor gym equipment, which is provided along the footpaths to create an active fitness trail.
Persimmon is also proposing a new informal kickabout area, improvements to walkways and creation of new paths within the park for the benefit of the wider community.
Significant funding for local infrastructure has also been proposed.
George Breed Head of Planning at Persimmon Nottingham, said: “We’re excited to bring forward these plans for high-quality new homes in Ladybrook.
“With a clear need for new housing, these proposals would deliver a wide range of energy efficient homes for local home buyers.
“We’re looking forward to working with the council, stakeholders and the local community to bring these plans to fruition.”
