York mum gets apprenticeship help from Persimmon

Persimmon Homes has supported the next generation of talent by funding a York-based apprentice.

Persimmon has offered a contribution towards a Safe and Sound Homes employee to receive her AAT Level 3 qualification. 

Izabela Bogusiewicz, 43, will be able to complete her qualification through an Apprenticeship Levy Transfer, paid for by Persimmon. 

The donation means York-based mum Izabela will be able to complete her apprenticeship training and progress to work as an assistant accountant at the company. 

SASH (Safe and Sound Homes), a registered youth homelessness charity operating across York, North Yorkshire, and the East Riding of Yorkshire and prevents vulnerable young people aged 16 to 25 from falling into long-term homelessness. 

Izabela said: “I’m incredibly grateful to Persimmon Homes for supporting my professional development through an Apprenticeship Levy transfer.

“Studying towards my AAT Level 3 qualification is a fantastic opportunity for me to build on my existing skills, develop my knowledge and continue progressing in my role at SASH. This support will have a really positive impact on both my personal development and the contribution I can make to the organisation.”
