Football club scores after donation from housebuilder

A grassroots football club is celebrating after receiving a donation from Persimmon Homes that has allowed them to “flourish”.
The housebuilder is Lowdham Colts FC’s official new sponsor after the club applied to its Community Champions scheme.
Having received a donation of £6,000, the club kitted out their players in brand new strips and was able to buy new equipment for training.
Alan Levers and Mike Adams, Head Coaches of Lowdham Colts FC Rossoneri under-11s, said:
“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Persimmon Homes as our new team sponsors.
“Their incredibly generous support has provided our Rossoneri squad with fantastic new kits, a state-of-the-art Veo camera (which we’re proudly sharing with our fellow Lowdham team), a tournament tent, a drinks Esky, new training gear and other equipment. [It’s] everything we need to look and feel like a proper professional outfit.
“This partnership will run for the next four years, giving our players stability and pride every time they step onto the pitch.
“A huge thank you to Persimmon Homes for believing in our young players and for making such a positive difference to grassroots football in our community.”

“I would like to put on record my thanks to Persimmon Homes for supporting Lowdham FC, one of our most successful grass roots clubs. This Sponsorship has ensured that not only can the children look the part, but also, the coaches to analyse and by becoming Champions, succeed.”
