Plans submitted for first phase of new residential community in Tamworth

Plans have been submitted for a new residential community with green spaces at Alvecote Park, Tamworth, on land west of Robey’s Lane.

The submitted plans, being delivered by our Central region, will provide a mixture of 432 one- to five-bedroom homes, marking the first phase of the wider 1,270-home development.

Alvecote Park plans to deliver new green spaces, play areas and places for residents to spend time outdoors, alongside pedestrian and cycle links. A new cycleway will run along the eastern boundary of the site, helping to provide sustainable connections for residents and the wider community.

Sustainable drainage features will also be incorporated into the development, while new planting and habitats will help support biodiversity across the site.

As part of the wider development, more than £24 million will be invested through financial contributions towards local services, including education, healthcare and transport. New access points will also be provided from Tamworth Road and Robey’s Lane.
