Show home opens to house hunters in Nottinghamshire
15 June 2026
Homebuyers are being invited to see what homes will look like on a development in Nottinghamshire.
Our Nottingham region has opened the doors to a new show home near Sutton-in-Ashfield.
Chairman of Ashfield District Council, Paul Grafton, was recently on-hand to formally open the show home at a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The new show home, Teversal Green, sits on a site on the outskirts of Sutton-in-Ashfield and offers two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.
The development has open green spaces, easy transport links and, when completed, the site will have124 homes.
Councillor Paul Grafton said: “I recently visited the new show home Teversal Green, in my post as Chairman of Ashfield District Council. I was there to officially open the site and I was warmly greeted by the staff of Persimmon Homes. A short walk around the site revealed a feeling of a fairly spacious layout and well- designed buildings. It is helped by its setting and the fact it is a small estate.
“On entering the show home I thought that the layout was well thought out and it was well decorated. The feeling overall feeling was that it was spacious and well finished. The rear garden was reasonable in size and good for a family setting. It is good to see the varying choices of homes and building site around Ashfield.”
Persimmon Nottingham Planning Manager Robbie Steel said: “It was brilliant to welcome Councillor Grafton to our new show home. We’re excited for local homebuyers to be given the chance to see the wide range of energy efficient, high-quality homes we have on offer. This development is ideal for first-time buyers and growing families.”
