Supporting Newdigate Cricket Club in Warwickshire

Our Central region has become the latest sponsor of Newdigate Cricket Club.

We're currently building the Newlands Meadows and Moathouse Grange estates in Bedworth, and recently offered to support to the Club. 

The newly-established Club runs a Saturday team in the Warwickshire League Division 7 East and a second team in the Warwickshire League Division 2. They also have a women’s team playing in the Nuneaton and District Women’s Development League.  

Commenting on the sponsorship Adam Bourne from Newdigate Cricket Club said “We are so grateful for the support from Persimmon Homes which has given us the opportunity to cover the cost of 20 young children being given the opportunity to get into cricket. This helps them become more active and gives them the opportunity to develop social relationships and promotes positive mental wellbeing.” 

Sarah Preston, Sales Director at Persimmon Homes Central added “At Persimmon Homes as well as building home, we are building communities which aligns very much with the ethos of Newdigate Cricket Club. We wish them well for the season.”
