Supporting youth football in Kent
20 November 2025
A football team in Kent is celebrating a new sponsorship deal from our South East business.
We donated £2,000 to Langton Green Junior Football Club, based in Langton Green, to enable them to buy new kit for the season ahead.
Coach David Buckley thanked Persimmon Homes and said:
"We are delighted to receive this funding, this has helped us provide kit for the Under 14 team who play across the county in the elite Kent Youth League. It reduces the cost barrier that may prevent some families from being able to join us and ensures the club is accessible to all within our community.”
Presenting the cheque to the club, Christine Gabb, Sales Manager for Persimmon Homes South East, said:
“It is a pleasure to support the club and to hear about the work they do to keep young people active and engaged within their community.
“At Persimmon Homes we take pride in the fact we build more than just homes, we grow communities – and our Community Champion grants are just another way we are doing that here in Kent.”
Earlier this year we secured planning consent for 120 zero-carbon ready homes in the village of Horsmonden, Tunbridge Wells. of these, 48 homes will be available for either shared ownership or below market rent, including bungalows for those with mobility needs.
More than 65 per cent of the site will be kept as public open space while delivering a 20 per cent Biodiversity Net Gain in recognition of the fact Kent is regarded as the Garden of England.
