Youth footballers in Suffolk are celebrating a successful start to the year, with a strong league position and new kits to boot.
The Under 14 Knights at Framlingham Town have got new shirts following a donation from the five-star team at Persimmon Homes Suffolk.
Ross Simarro, Coach of the Under 14s, said: “The team have been playing really well, they are in the top division locally and we attract players from all over east Suffolk who are keen to play at this level.
“The new kits have given them an extra boost and we are hoping to see some strong results at the end of the season. Thank you to Persimmon Homes for the generous support.”
Alex Cox, Land Director at Persimmon Homes Suffolk, said: “This funding comes from our Community Champions scheme, designed to create a positive legacy across Suffolk.
“We are delighted to be able to direct funds towards this club and to see the great work the coaches here do to support young people, giving them an opportunity to not only stay active but also enjoy being outdoors.”
