There’s a lot to get involved with in Haverhill. Transport links

Haverhill is connected by a number of A roads to Cambridge and neighbouring towns. Not far away is the M11, which joins Cambridge to London and offers links to the A1 which gives you access to the rest of the country. Stansted Airport is only twenty miles to the southeast, which flies to a huge range of international destinations.

Although there’s no train station in the town, Great Chesterford is only fifteen miles away and offers a direct link to London in just over an hour. So, although you’ll have everything you need within reach of your new home in Haverhill, you’ll easily be able to stay connected with the rest of the country and travel abroad.

Great schools

Haverhill has a great selection of schools for every age group. With three nurseries and preschools rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, as well as a good range of primary and secondary schools, your children’s education will be in good hands at all stages of their school career. The town is also home to Churchill Special School, which focuses on children and young people with Speech Language and Communication needs and also has an Ofsted  ‘Outstanding’ rating.
