Attention to detail helps two Northamptonshire site managers wins top accolade

Site managers Will Yates and Christopher Gunn are celebrating after being named in the latest round of Pride in the Job 2026 Quality Awards.
With responsibility for Persimmon Homes’ Overstone Gate and The Furlongs sites in Northamptonshire, both Managers have made a significant impact by driving up standards and consistently delivering first-class homes that meet the high expectations of his customers.
The awards are the most highly regarded within the construction industry and a prestigious benchmark. Will and Christopher and the other Quality Award winners will now go forward to the Seal of Excellence Award round to find the Regional Award winner before the final Pride in the Job Supreme Awards in January.
Will Yates, Site Manager at Overstone said: “I’m a hands-on manager and I make sure I know each plot inside out. I’m on site every day checking in with trades to ensure we’re delivering the quality our customers expect and deserve.
Christopher Gunn, Site Manager at The Furlongs added: “One of my biggest focuses is good housekeeping – keeping the site clean, organised and well-managed. It gives people pride in their work and shows attention to detail from the moment you step onto site.”
