£5,000 donation supports local initiatives as Primrose Gardens takes shape
The donation will help the trust continue its work supporting local initiatives, bringing residents together and strengthening community life in Crossgates.
The funding comes as Persimmon Homes develops Primrose Gardens, a 191-home development in the village. The project will deliver a mix of high-quality, energy-efficient homes alongside new open spaces and community benefits.
James McKay, Managing Director of Persimmon Homes North Scotland said:“We’re proud to support Primrose Community Development Trust and the fantastic work they do in the local community. As we build Primrose Gardens, we want to ensure the development leaves a lasting, positive impact for residents in Crossgates.”
Ian Campbell, Chair of Primrose Community Development Trust, said:"Really pleased that Persimmon Homes understand the benefits of a 'vibrant togetherness village', and the work that we as a Trust have been doing particularly with the development of our Youth & Community Initiatives. We are appreciative of their financial support!"
Persimmon’s Primrose Gardens will offer homes ranging from two-bedroom semi-detached properties to four-bedroom detached houses, with prices starting at £189,995. The homes are around 30% more energy efficient than the average new build, helping residents reduce household bills while enjoying modern, sustainable living.
