Plans Submitted for new homes near Hucknall

Plans for more than 150 homes in Nottinghamshire have been submitted by Persimmon Homes Nottingham region.

Persimmon has submitted plans to Gedling Borough Council for 158 new homes in Linby, on the outskirts of Hucknall.

This reserved matters application follows outline approval for housing on the site that was granted back in 2022.

Located at the Top Wighay Farm development already under construction, these 158 new homes will comprise a mix of 2, 3 and 4-bedroom properties.

27 of the new homes will be designated for affordable rent and discount market homes.

The Top Wighay Farm development is a large mix-used project made up of both housing and land for business use in addition to plans for a new primary school and community spaces.

Significant funding for local infrastructure is being delivered via both an existing section 106 agreement for the wider site and Community Infrastructure Levy contributions.
