Musselburgh

Musselburgh is a beautiful town on the coast of the Forth of Fife. The Romans made it up to Musselburgh and the town is thought to be older than Edinburgh - it certainly received its charter first. Aside from history,  it’s close for commutes into the city, but has a lovely seaside town feel.

Home to the famous racecourse – the second largest in Scotland – as well as the golf course, which is said to be one of the oldest in the world. If you like the theatre, from your new house you can walk to The Brunton and watch a play, film or enjoy an event.
