Persimmon Homes

Musselburgh is a beautiful town on the coast of the Forth of Fife. The Romans made it up to Musselburgh and the town is thought to be older than Edinburgh - it certainly received its charter first. Aside from history, your new home in Musselburgh has the best of all worlds – it’s close for commutes into the city, but has a lovely seaside town feel.

Musselburgh is home to the famous racecourse – the second largest in Scotland – as well as the golf course, which is said to be one of the oldest in the world. If you like the theatre, from your house in Musselburgh you can walk to The Brunton and watch a play, film or enjoy an event. If you fancy dining out, there’s an Italian, seafood, fish & chips… you could also head to a pub for real ale or have a sundowner looking over the sea. And in the unlikely event you want to go further afield, Edinburgh is just seven minutes away by train.
