Local Pupils Get Their Hands Dirty at Site Visit

The Mayor and Mayoress of Hinckley rolled up their sleeves this week to join Eco-Warriors from Sketchley Hill Primary School for a hands-on morning of flower planting.
Twelve Key Stage 2 pupils from the school’s Eco-Warrior team got stuck into the planting project at The Lodge @ Sketchley Park, the latest premium development by Charles Church North Midlands.
Armed with trowels and with some help from the town’s civic leaders the pupils spent the morning brightening up the Hinckley site with vibrant flowers.
The Lodge @ Sketchley Park offers a range of two to five-bedroom homes nestled in the with smart heating, solar panels, EV charging points and luxurious finishes throughout.
James Tarrant, Deputy Head Teacher, Sketchley Hill Primary School, said: “The Eco-Warriors loved the opportunity to brighten up the new development with colourful flowers. Our school is looking forward to welcoming new families to Burbage and into the Sketchley Hill community.”
