A member of our Central team has received multiple accolated from Sandwell College for her excellent work as she completes an apprenticeship in Carpentry.

Sophie Grahame divides her time between our sites in the Central division and Sandwell College, where she is completing a Level 2 apprenticeship in Carpentry and Joinery. Upon completion of her apprenticeship, Sophie will become a fully qualified carpenter and join the Persimmon team full time.

Sophie said: “It’s really great to for my work to be recognised in this way. Since starting on the apprenticeship, I’ve found the work to be very interesting and being able to learn practical skills alongside the theory side at college makes the role varied and well-rounded.”

Patrick Price, Construction Director Designate at Persimmon Homes Central said: “We’re incredibly proud of Sophie for being awarded Apprentice of the Month for all of her great work. Sophie has been eager and enthusiastic since joining us, so it’s no surprise that her hard work has paid off.
