One of our Yorkshire apprentices, Kalen Joy, has been awarded the Apprenticeship Brickwork Student of the Year at the York College Construction Awards.

The prestigious award highlights Kalen’s remarkable skills and commitment to learning his trade.

Celebrating his award win Kalen said: "I’m honoured to have won the Apprenticeship Brickwork Student of the Year award. I’ve really enjoyed learning new skills and the support from my mentors at Persimmon has been inspiring."

Lisa Haywood, Regional Apprentice Manager, Persimmon Yorkshire said: “Kalen’s dedication and his desire to learn is truly amazing.
