New-look Charles Church homes to be delivered in key Suffolk town

Work has started on a new flagship development in Bury St Edmunds, which will bring 142 much-needed new homes to the town.

Persimmon Homes Suffolk will be bringing their new-look Charles Church homes to Abbots Vale, off Sicklesmere Road, early next year after securing land from Hopkins Homes.

Keen to deliver these much-needed new homes, the five-star housebuilder has already started work on site ahead of delivering the first homes in 2026.

Charles Church at Abbots Vale will offer 142 new homes, including 48 for those whose needs are not met by the open market.

Stacy Brett, Deputy Managing Director for Persimmon Homes Suffolk, said:

“We are delighted to be returning to Bury St Edmunds and delivering these high-quality new homes that will provide much-needed housing for families in West Suffolk.”
