Students from Avanti Meadows Primary School cut the ribbon of a new show home at Stortford Fields this weekend before taking a sneak peak inside.

Gracie Stokes and Alisa Salimova were asked by Persimmon Homes Essex to perform the ribbon cutting and officially launch the show home at the new community in Bishops Stortford on Saturday.

Afterwards they were given the first glimpse inside the spacious three-bedroom home.

Persimmon Homes are building 124 much-needed new homes as part of this latest development at the popular Stortford Fields.

The new homes range from two to four bedrooms and prices start at £384,000.
