Brilliant road links on your doorstep

Your new home in Ivybridge is near the A38 Devon Expressway - the key road through Devon. It links with the M5 at Exeter (35 miles) for easy travel up to Bristol (110 miles) and the Midlands (200 miles). Go west from your new build and the A38 will get you to Plymouth (12 miles) in just 20 minutes continuing on into Cornwall via the Saltash Bridge. Ivybridge has its own railway station on the South West Railway line, with regular trains to London Paddington taking just over three hours, as well as providing a convenient commuting option for Plymouth taking around 15 minutes.

Schools straight from home

Your new home in Ivybridge is spoilt for choice with education. There are six nursery schools, including one devoted to Montessori educational principles. There are four primary schools - many of which are Ofsted rated as Outstanding - and a well-regarded secondary school, The Community College (one the first ever specialist sports colleges in the UK). The nearest school to your new build for children with special educational needs is Longcause Community Special School at Plymstock.

Get out and about from your new house

Your new home, Ivybridge is on the southernmost tip of the Dartmoor National Park, with its dramatic landscapes, wild ponies and tales of folklore and intrigue. Take to the National Park for excellent mountain biking and walking, canoeing and geocaching, horseriding and climbing - this working landscape is an outdoor playground for the adventurous. If you'd like to walk along miles of sandy beaches, drive from your Ivybridge new build to Mothercombe, Thurlestone and Bigbury-on-Sea.
