Coventry cheerleading team flying high after donation

An award-winning, Coventry cheerleading club has been given a boost after receiving £1,000 from Central region for their All Girl level 4 team, Lady Grenades.
Coventry Dynamite, who train at Woodlands School in the Tile Hill area of the City, has received the funding from Central region.
The Club, which has been running for over 16 years, offers top class coaching for males and females from the age of 4 and upwards. They boast 18 competitive teams who have won a number of gold medals at national and international competitions and have secured a very good reputation in the sport.
Commenting on the funding, Sarah Biggs of Coventry Dynamite said:
“We are committed to the development of both local and travelling athletes and are committed to helping our sport grow within our community and across the UK as well as promoting the importance and benefits of physical activity and leading a healthy lifestyle.
“We are very grateful to Persimmon Homes for this funding which will go towards the Lady Grenades costs of travel to enable our teams to continue to be able to take part in competitions around the country and overseas.”
Rose Lynch, Sales Manager at Persimmon Homes Central said: “We are delighted make this donation to Coventry Dynamite who are providing great opportunities for people to develop in this sport and compete at a very high level. We wish them all the very best for future competitions.”
Lady Grenades 2022 came 3rd in their category at NCA 2022 and also placed 1st at the National Championships in the UK and a number of other competitions around the UK.
We have a number of residential developments in Coventry including Bluebell Wood, Paragon Park and Whitmore Place.
