Porch

Your front door and porch are the first areas people see, so of course you want to make a good first impression. A festive wreath is the quickest way to spruce up your front door. There are lots of tutorials online, so if you are feeling creative, a DIY wreath adds personality and originality to the front of your home. If that’s not for you, whether it is artificial or real foliage that takes your fancy, there are lots of small, local businesses producing stunning wreaths. Why not add some battery-operated fairy lights to really make it pop. Whatever the size of your porch and hallway, we say that you can never have too many seasonal details.

Living room

For many, the living room is the pièce de resistance when it comes to Christmas decorations, with a perfectly decorated Christmas tree the focal point of the room. The warm glow of lights helps create a cosy ambiance, perfect for sitting down with the family to enjoy a Christmas film.

We know how important those family ornaments are for the tree, so a simple way to introduce a new colour scheme is to incorporate tinsel or ribbons. Choosing a colour scheme is an effective way to make your tree looked perfectly styled and can reflect the design of your room.

Kitchen

It can be quite tricky finding the right subtle Christmas decorations for your kitchen – but it certainly isn't a room that should be forgotten. Things are a little different this Christmas, so while we’re staying home, what a perfect opportunity for Christmas crafts and bakes. A gingerbread, cookies in a jar or mince pies not only provide the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea, but display them and they can also be part of your holiday décor. Change up your tea towels, scatter accessories, create a window display – the possibilities are endless.

Dining

Dressing your dining area for Christmas can make those family meals extra special. Ribbons on the back of chairs are a simple and cost effective way to add a little colour to the dining table and are a simple way to tie your decorations into the existing colour scheme. Crackers, a table runner, festive napkins and placemats or charger plates can also add colour and extra pizzazz to your table. If you want to go that extra mile, a dramatic centrepiece can really add impact.

Bedrooms

We know that some of our customers love an additional Christmas tree in their bedroom, but you don't have to go that far. Perhaps it's a garland draped across your headboard, new cosy Christmas bedding, or just the addition of some fairy lights, that will give you the perfect décor for your bedrooms.
