The first homes on a new housing development in Swaffham have been released to the market.
Pedlars Meadow, in Norwich Road, will provide 165 homes in a range of styles offering a selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties. Construction work started on the £22.5 million development in March and homes are now available to buy off-plan.
Pedlars Meadow is conveniently close to the A47 linking to Narborough, Dereham, Kings Lynn and the historic city of Norwich. The A1065 links to the market towns of Thetford and Fakenham.
“We have had a great deal of interest in these homes,” said Nova Eames, sales director for Persimmon Homes East Midlands. “This is down to the combination of its location and incentives on offer.
“Swaffham is a family friendly and attractive market town at the northern point of the Brecks, an area stretching across Norfolk and Suffolk known for its tranquillity and beauty. It is a fantastic location to explore Norfolk and Suffolk, including the North Norfolk Coast and the Norfolk Broads.
“We are also offering incentives to customers and we can help people get moving through our Part Exchange and Home Change schemes.”
Pedlars Meadow offers 14 different property styles for buyers to choose from, ranging from The Alnwick – a stylish two-bedroom house with an attractive kitchen/ diner and a spacious living room, to The Hadleigh – a generous five-bedroom family home with an en-suite to the main bedroom and downstairs cloakroom and the three-bedroom Lacey bungalow.
“We are confident Pedlars Meadow will become a vibrant new community as we bring much-needed homes and employment opportunities to the area,” continued Nova.
“The development is unlike anything we’ve built in the area before and from the very start we felt it would be something special. It is of no surprise that homes are already attracting a great deal of interest. We would therefore encourage people to come and see us and see what is available before it’s too late.”
Prices at Pedlars Meadow start from £230,000.
