A rich palette of bronze, copper, terracotta and taupe delivers autumnal sophistication to a Suffolk showhome from Persimmon Homes.

The Corfe style house at College Park, in Thurston, has been designed with metallic accents to evoke feelings of a warm welcome to guests at the development, enveloping them in a cocoon of calm and comfort.

And this was no accident, as Persimmon Suffolk sales director Lucy Woodhall explains:

“When we briefed our interior designers for this showhome, we knew we wanted a very sophisticated house, but one that worked well within the semi-rural setting of College Park.

“The careful use of metallic wall art and accessories, rich accent colours and sumptuous soft furnishings make this a very warm and welcoming house.

“We paid particular attention to matching the mood of each room, delivering visual impact in the social space, such as the dining kitchen with a spectacular feature light fitting, and the family ‘home cinema’ room.”

The Corfe style house is a generous family home, with a spacious open-plan kitchen/diner, living room and separate dining or family room on the ground floor. Upstairs are five good sized bedrooms, a family bathroom and an en suite to the main bedroom, offers practical and flexible living space.

Lucy added: “Our College Park showhome also pays tribute to Persimmon’s ongoing partnership with Team GB, with a special themed bedroom. This features the most amazing hand-painted mural and thoughtfully selected accessories, to highlight the pride we all feel in supporting our athletes.”

College Park is a collection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes in the charming and popular village of Thurston. Surrounded by magnificent open countryside, the development is close to excellent local schools and transport links to all the facilities of Bury St Edmunds.
