Househunters can book a slot to look around a stunning new show home in Llanilid.
Persimmon Homes West Wales has cut the ribbon on its eye-catching four-bedroom Chedworth style show home at its Milton Meadow development.
Persimmon is building an initial 1,850 properties at a former opencast mine site on Bridgend Road, off junction 35 of the M4.
The Milton Meadow phase is made up of 152 homes.
With the Covid-19 firebreak in Wales over, househunters can book an appointment to view the show home by visiting https://www.persimmonhomes.com/milton-meadow-10807 or by calling 01443 800 877.
The show home has been designed by Kara Newstead, an interior designer at Intu Interiors, who ensured the latest design trends were incorporated into the home.
Kara said: “We always put a lot of thought and consideration into the design of show homes to ensure they match the demographics of the area.”
“Milton Meadow is going to be very popular with first time buyers and younger people, so we’ve included very contemporary design that’s on-trend yet accessible and easy to re-create.”
“We used wallpapers from the latest collections complimentary furniture in a relaxed style and accessorised to create a homely feel.”
There is a range of two, three and four-bedroom properties available at Milton Meadow.
Sharon Bouhali, sales director at Persimmon Homes West Wales, said: “We are delighted to have opened this brand new show home.”
“This significant development in Llanilid has been in the pipeline for some time so it’s exciting to see it taking shape.”
“This year has been a huge challenge for everyone and has made people think differently about all sorts of different things, including their home. Many people are either in the process of moving or are thinking about it.”
“We’ve been extremely busy and we’re determined to keep helping people find their dream home, whether that is virtually or in person.”
The development will also include commercial units. Persimmon worked alongside the National Assembly for Wales and MP Chris Elmore to make the development a reality. The site has long been designated by Rhondda Cynon Taf council (RCT) as a key strategic development site.
Part of the site has been remediated following the cessation of mining by Celtic Energy in the 1990s.
