A coffee morning at Central office in Birmingham has raised £275 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Customer Care Coordinator Lauren McCarthy decided to hold the fundraiser ‘on a whim’ and was blown away by the huge support from colleagues.

Lauren said: “Everyone at Central HQ and Space 4 got involved, it was amazing! We had so many donations of cakes and biscuits that we were also able to put together gift baskets for an impromptu raffle.”

Commercial secretary Jenny Maloney took over the running of the raffle and raised £150 through the sale of tickets.

Added Lauren: “I can’t thank everyone enough for their generous contributions, whether that be donating goods or buying them. Altogether we raised £275.75p and I’m absolutely chuffed to now be able to hand these funds over to Macmillan to support their wonderful work.”
