Childrens hospice receives donation

An award-winning children’s hospice has been presented with £1,000 by our North London region.

Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice successfully applied for the grant through the Building Futures initiative.

The children’s hospice provides specialist care and support for more than 350 children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions in North and Central London each year.

The funding will go towards family days offered by the hospice so that children and their families can create vital memories together that they will treasure forever.

Roisin Stallard, senior trust fundraising manager, said: “We are beyond grateful for the donation from Persimmon Homes as all funding goes such a long way for our children and families.

“We are guided by the principle ‘Leave No Child Behind’ and we are determined to ensure that as many children who could benefit from our support, do.”
