Climbing frame joy for Wells pre-school

A Wells pre-school has scooped a £1,000 grant towards a new climbing frame.

St. Cuthbert''s Preschool, on Keward Walk, has won the money from Persimmon as part of our long-running and successful Community Champion campaign.

Jayne Sherlock, of St. Cuthbert''s Preschool, said: “We’re really excited to receive this donation from Persimmon Homes.

“Recently we’d had to bid farewell of our pirate ship in the play area as it was no longer safe. There is now not much outdoors for the children to enjoy.

“This money will go a long way towards purchasing a new piece of climbing equipment for our children. Thank you, Persimmon.”

Carly Spear, sales director at Severn Valley, said: “We are delighted to be able to support St. Cuthbert''s Preschool.

“Supporting good causes in the towns and cities in which we are building is a fundamental principle for us. This is just another example of that.”

We’re currently building stunning new homes at Foxglove Heights in Wells, where there is a range of three, four and five-bedroom homes available.
