Our South Coast branch has appointed Jonathan Okeze as land manager for its Fareham-based division.

Originally from south London, Jonathan (30) holds a master’s degree in real estate from Reading University and joined Persimmon from Aquinna Homes plc, where he held a similar role covering the south east. Previously he has also worked with Berkeley Group and Taylor Wimpey.

In his new role, Jonathan is responsible for sourcing and negotiating new land deals for Persimmon, which includes producing land appraisals and managing all necessary steps in the legal process, from heads of terms to completion.

He said: “I’m excited to be joining Persimmon at a crucial time in the company’s growth. I look forward to assisting the team in their pursuit of new land opportunities in this increasingly competitive marketplace.”

Persimmon South Coast land director Sharon Eckford added: “We are delighted to welcome Jonathan to our team. He comes with excellent credentials, having already operated successfully in this area, and we look forward to building a very bright future together.”

Outside of work, Jonathan is a keen car enthusiast who enjoys track days and European tours in his spare time, describing his dream car as a Porsche 911 GT3.
